Sergio Hicke new managing director of Alfa Laval Italy

Alfa Laval, a leading international industrial groups, specializing in technology and supplies of components for the heat exchange – with 5 offices in Italy and over 800 employees, has entrusted the leadership of Sergio Hicke Alfa Laval Italy and the Adriatic region. Starting this month, Hicke assumes the role of managing director replacing Göran Hedbys, that within the Swedish group will hold the post of vice president of the segment process food technology. In his new position will lead the company Hicke dall’headquarter of Monza, with responsibility for all operations in Italy, Greece and Israel. Sergio Hicke, 43 years old, from Argentina, is in the group Alfa Laval since 1995, where he built his career covering various managerial positions including Managing Director in Argentina, Head of Business Centre Air Heat Exchanger and Equipment Regional Manager for America Latin America. From 2003 to 2007 he was general manager of global air heat exchanger product & business center in the division of Alfa Laval Alonte, Vicenza. Sergio Hicke has a degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Católica of Argentina, MBA in strategic management and marketing, and for several years was executive director of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and a member of Argentina and by the European Chambers.

Alfa Laval is present in Italy for over 100 years and now has approximately 800 employees with offices in Monza, Genoa, Florence, Alonte (VI), Suisio (BG). Is active in the supply of specialized products and engineering solutions based on its key technologies of heat transfer, separation and fluid handling systems for the production of energy, on board, the metal industry, mining and water treatment waste, as well as applications of air conditioning and refrigeration.
